Sabrina and Daphne Grimm’s parents have recently disappeared, and the girls are sent to live with their grandmother, who they had previously believed to be dead.  Sabrina is especially curious about their grandmother, wondering why their parents would have kept them from her for so long.  They are quickly exposed to the magical world in which their grandmother lives, and are told the Brothers Grimm are their ancestors.  They meet creatures such as pixies and dwarves, and when they discover their grandmother is missing, the girls and the new magical friends they have made work together to solve the mystery.
