Zhang Zhiqiang was born with congenital heart disease. In 2006, when he was 12 years old, his family was in desperation of getting him the medical help he needed so badly.  They were very poor and could not pay for Zhiqiang’s surgery.  Things did not look promising for this young man.

A group of co-workers at a bank in Chicago learned of the situation and raised the money to pay for the operation. Zhang Zhiqiang now looks forward to his teen years and a long and healthy life.
