In 2007, Tim Bailey, the founder of Candy Craze, contacted Children’s Hope to build a partnership that is making life a lot sweeter for orphaned children around the world: Candy Craze donates a portion of each month's sales of Take Out Boxes in direct support of projects that help orphans.
Timothy and Connie Bailey are blessed to be the parents of four internationally adopted children. They have been longtime advocates of adoption and humanitarian aid efforts to improve life for orphans around the world. In 2006, Connie joined Children’s Hope as the Outreach Director for the state of Arkansas.

Each month, Candy Craze brings new hope to orphans though gifts that support ongoing projects:
- January 2008 - Christmas is always a big time of year for a candy store, and that translates into more aid for children. In its first gift of the new year, Candy Craze is providing cleft lip/palate surgeries to 6 orphans in China! These children will have bright new smiles and a much brighter future!
- December 2007 - For 114 children living in an orphanage in Kazakhstan, Candy Craze's December gift will provide a windfall of educational supplies and developmental toys that will keep them busy learning all year long!
- November 2007 - Hepatitis B is a serious health threat for orphans in Russia: it is the tenth leading cause of death worldwide and people exposed as children are at greater risk of developing the deadly, chronic form of this virus. Thankfully, the virus is completely preventable, and this month Candy Craze will give lifelong HBV protection to 45 Russian orphans through vaccinations!
- October 2007 - Candy Craze's gift will purchase a portable dental chair and compressor for a medical unit that directly serves 150 orphans living in a Children's Home in Bogotá, Colombia. This gift will have an even greater impact, however, because the medical unit also shares its resources on behalf of hundreds of people in nearby communities.
- September 2007 - orphans in Ethiopia have little access to higher education. This month, Candy Craze's gift is a scholarship for 5 older orphans to a one-year vocational program. Next spring, these newly independent young adults will have a much better chance of finding jobs and building a good life for themselves.
- July/August 2007 - the Mother's Hope Foster Home in Henan Province, China, cares for orphans whose parents died from HIV/AIDS infection when the local blood supply was contaminated. Candy Craze's gift will provide 14 of these children with four months of counseling to help them overcome this terrible loss and look to their future.
- June 2007 - thanks to Candy Craze, 100 children living in poverty in Guatemala will each receive a bag full of supplies for school!
- May 2007 - Candy Craze will purchase new clothing and shoes for 75 orphans and street children living in Kakinada, one of the poorest states in India.
- April 2007 - the very first gift from Candy Craze will send 5 older orphans in China to the Hand-in-Hand Summer Camp.
