Who We Are
Children's Hope International is a global charitable organization.
Our work with orphans at risk began in 1992 as Children's Hope International adoption agency. After 10 years as a leader in the field of international adoption, Executive Director Dwyatt Gantt decided to move the agency closer to fulfilling a vision of helping those orphans left behind. Although CHI had been developing humanitarian aid projects from the very beginning, a separate humanitarian aid department was created in 2001. Today, although finding a family for every child remains the mission of Children's Hope International, our humanitarian aid programs are designed to specifically deal with the many needs of those orphans left behind. Through our experience worldwide, we have seen such orphans' needs firsthand and our souls have been deeply touched.
The trust afforded us through our work in adoption has opened a great door of opportunity in allowing us to reach these little ones. Through Children's Hope International's humanitarian aid programs, we do just that.

Who We Help
Our work focuses primarily on those who are orphaned or otherwise left homeless for any reason. As of 2006, our efforts reached to China, Colombia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, India, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Vietnam. We are committed to helping children throughout our world to the best of our ability and to the extent of the support we receive from generous individuals, corporations, foundations, and organized groups.
Some children in the Orphan Sponsorship program may live with their own families, other relatives, or foster families. These children are enrolled in Orphan Sponsorship because the support they receive can help families that are struggling to stay together against devastating poverty, disease, or other issues. Sponsorship assistance can mean the difference between giving up a child they are unable to adequately care for, and accessing resources that allow the family to remain intact.

Why We Help
Our faith in God and our responsibility to express His love for the hungry and hurting inspire us to reach out to those less fortunate. Children are our world's future and if they do not find hope, health and homes, their future - our world's future - is in jeopardy. Sadly, many children suffer in our world due to circumstances far beyond their control. At Children's Hope International, we bear this responsibility with honor and respect for the children and all they have to offer. Our responsibility to express God's love for the hungry and hurting inspires us to reach out to those less fortunate.
